tribute to Hannah

civilization as man's fabrication-frame of life,
is what in Genesis (3:21) called δερματινοι χιτωνες, skin-made tunics.
as leather is the byproduct of the death of an once alive animal,
so civilization is nature turned into material via man's violence.
and man's violence over nature comes from man's knowledge of death.
(leather tunics were also the aftermath of the Fall into knowledge.)
...
in the realm of language
δερματινοι χιτωνες is logos turned into dead language
(such as ideology or science)
via man's violation of human experience through knowledge.
